What Is Chronological Age?
Chronological age is simply the amount of calendar time that is passed since birth, measured to a specific date. We express it in years, months, and days — it is the standard for everything from developmental assessments to school enrollment decisions.
Chronological age is the simplest kind of age — it is just math. Birth date to target date, however many years, months, and days that is. It's different from biological age (how your body's aging), mental age (how you think), or developmental age (what skills you have). Those are subjective; chronological age is just what the calendar says.

Chronological age means this: how much time passed between birth and whatever date you care about. We calculate it by subtracting dates properly — accounting for months that are not 30 days and years that have an extra day.
